The Release Item to Production session also allows for item data to be copied between the PFEP, MRP Area Item and Supplying MRP Area Item records. 

To copy item data between the three records: 

1. Access the Plan for Every Part session.
2. Filter for the selected Item. 
3. Click Validate. Validate is displayed after the item has been released for production. 
   

4. Any differences in the three records will be highlighted in red. 
   
   

5. By clicking Copy, you will copy the item data from the selected record to the record in the direction of the <</>> arrows. 

• The  copy button will copy item data to the Ship-To MRP Area ( MRP Area Item) record. 
• The  copy button will copy item data from the Ship-To MRP Area to the PFEP document.
• The  copy button will copy item data from the Supplying MRP Area record to the PFEP document.

5. Click Update PFEP when complete.
