Please reference FAQ about Production Families to better understand the definition of a Production Family.

To create a new production family:

1. Click Create New Family next to the Production Family drop down selection menu.

2. Create a new Production Family ID and description.   A production family ID will be the unique identifier to access that family's capacity data.
   
   

3. Optionally, define a Global Process, a Global Sub-Process and Supplier Plant Group using the drop down selection menus

4. Continue with next step Defining Capacity for a Production Family.
