• A time buffer is built in to allow for delivery of items from supplying MRP area to line side.  Goal is to keep enough broadcast signals available to provide enough time to pick and pack but at the same time not to allow the Picking and Packing operation to get too far ahead.
• In sequencing operations, sequenced racks are returned from the assembly line empty and scanned.
• This finds the next series of orders that need parts to be sequenced from the broadcast detail tables.
