Dunnage may be defined if required for the part to be secure during transportation.
To define dunnage:
Click the Select button next to Dunnage in the Base Component section.
Select from the Packaging Type drop down menu the description of the appropriate dunnage necessary.
If that packaging type is currently sourced from only one vendor, the packaging item field will automatically be populated for you. If that packaging type is sourced through more than one vendor, choose the vendor specific packaging item number from the drop down list.
Click Update to save the dunnage selected and return to the PDS.
