The asset identification section of the tool detail captures the following information:

• Owner - owner of the tool (e.g. plant, division or corporation)
• Owner Asset - identification number for the tool from the owner's asset file
• Status - status of the tool (e.g. Active, Inactive, On Order)
• Asset Tag ID - unique identification number associated with the tool asset
• Asset Name by Owner - name or description given to the tool by the owner
• Responsible Contact- responsible party's name, email and phone number
• Asset Type- tool asset type ( e.g. Die Cast, Plastic Extruded, Injection Mold)
• Owner Asset Comments - comments about the tool from the owner
• Asset Last Updated - time Stamp and User Id of last update to the tool record

To open or close the asset identification section, click the add sign or minus sign, respectively.

To attach an image of the tool:

1. Click Choose File.
2. Open a picture file from your hard drive.
