Interfaces to the Broadcast system of the FMRP Supply Chain Workbench are dependent on the specific customer scenario.  The two key inputs to the broadcast system are a source of demand such as sales orders or a master production schedule and a bill of material for the models that are being built.   The broadcast system will then convey the appropriate information to the Supplying MRP areas as to when parts will be needed.   Other interfaces have been developed to communicate to automatic storage retrieval systems and/or PLC's on the manufacturing floor.  In summary the interfaces are as follows:

1. Sales Orders from a Production Constraint System (external) 
2. Generic Bill of Material (EGBOM) from FMRP (internal)
3. FMRP Broadcast System to Supplying MRP Areas
4. FMRP Broadcast System to Manufacturing Operations
