Once an item's PFEP has been sufficiently populated, it is ready to be released to production. This is the process of releasing the part data to the corresponding Item MRP Area record and Item Supplying MRP Area record. This data will overwrite any existing data that is already stored in the Item MRP Area and Item Supplying MRP Area records. It is recommended to validate and release items to production, prior to ordering parts. 

The process of releasing items to production can occur in two ways:

1. Release Items to Production From PFEP session. 
2. Release Multiple PFEPs via  PFEP Maintenance session.
