A production line is a specific physical space for the manufacture of a product in a flow plant layout that is represented by a straight line. This may be in actuality a series of pieces of equipment connected by piping or a conveyor system.

To add a new production line: 

1. Using the Advanced menu, click Item Planning > Facility Layout > Production Line.
2. Click Add.
3. Select the  MRP Area.
4. Name the Production Line.
5. Enter the Description.
6. Click Create.

To update a production line: 

1. Select the MRP Area.
2. Click the magnifying glass to select the Production Line.
3. Update the production line details.
4. Click Update.

To delete a production line:

1. Select the MRP Area.
2. Click the magnifying glass to select the Production Line.
3. Click Delete.

Note: Delete button only appears for user's with delete authorization.
