The Parent Company allows you to create a master ID for a group of trading partners that are all owned by the same parent company. By defining the parent and child relationship between trading partners, the user is able to filter on just the parent trading partner ID to view data for all associated child trading partners.  

To define a parent company:

 

1. From the Trading Partner Detail session, click Change.
2. The Parent Company drop down list will now be populated. 
   
   

3. Select the Parent Company.
4. Click Update.
