Bill of Material information for a particular item is accessible from the Stock Status Report. 

To access:

1. Enter the item number in the text field. 

2. Check the Show Where Used check box.

3. Click Go.

4. The Where Used information about the item will appear. 

The “where used” information about the item is created when the MRP Area Model information is merged with the Bill of Material (BOM). Having defined which models of a product will be built in what MRP area with what items are necessary to build a product, the where used information of an item will appear in the stock status report.

To view all BOM records indicated by the number at the top of the image ("7"), click the arrow in front of the plant.

The page will refresh and display all seven records associated with this item number in detail.
