Greetings! Welcome to my online portfolio. Refer to the menu in the top right corner to see
what I have to offer. I have been working on a healthy range of projects from coding games to producing music.
I am open to collaborations so feel free to get in touch with any ideas you have. I hope you enjoy
whatever you choose to explore on this site.
I am also a classically trained musician who has performed in operas such as Bizet's Carmen and Puccini's Tosca. I recorded my vocals for a film soundtrack composed by Michael Nyman and worked alongside him. I graduated in 2014 with an MA in Music and Sonic Media from The University of Sussex. I love all kinds of music but my favourite is electronic music - I'll listen to anything from Boards of Canada to Noisia - I like a good variety.

Throughout my childhood I loved playing computer games, even as an infant I played a range of games
on my dad's Macintosh including WarcraftII, Thinking Things and Myst. Having a mixed ethnic background was not uncommon
in my part of London and so this did not make me too different to the
others at my mainstream primary school – however I attended Japanese school on the weekends and really got to understand
the cultural differences and similarities between Japan and the UK. The highlight of my childhood years was when I sang in the
operas Carmen and Tosca... or maybe it was when I got a Playstation for Christmas.
Throughout my teenage years my hobbies included producing music in Logic, singing, and making rudimentary animations and games
in Adobe Flash MX. One of my fondest memories of my adolescence is my work experience at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe –
I got to know the inner workings of how the company works and most importantly I got to test a plethora of games including PS3
ones before the PS3 was even commercially available. I spent my gap year working in a Japanese mini-supermarket where I honed
my Japanese speaking and reading skills, and learned how to prepare many complex Japanese dishes.
Inspired by my rock-musician father I attained a Master’s degree in Music and Sonic Media at The University of Sussex.
Since graduating I’ve taught in various schools across London as well as privately. In 2015 I branched out and worked a year
in a sales role at a small lead generation firm to get business related experience, further to my expectations this really
helped build my confidence, resilience and negotiation skills.
I currently teach lessons in ICT, Music and Mathematics and lead many coding and problem solving activities.
I also perform as a singer and entertainer every weekend at a play-centre for very young children and their carers.
For the past few years I have been becoming increasingly obsessed with coding and computer science as a whole, and I have
been bestowing new knowledge upon the children I work with during the week. I have been coding and designing applications
and games for fun in my spare time, and I have been exploring other areas too.
