RIGHT-TO-DIE
HOSPICE
Facebook Group & Seminar
A
right-to-die
hospice
is any program devoted to caring for the dying
that allows all
legal, doctor-approved methods of managing dying
for the location served.
Here
is a quick summary of these pathways towards death:
Five
Medical Methods of Managing Dying:

As a group, this gathering of advocates on Facebook
empowers
people who want to create a right-to-die hospice
to discover other
advocates who live nearby.
Because there
will be strong opposition—at
least at first—
care
should be observed to avoid connections
with existing
right-to-die organizations.
The same individuals can be involved
in any number of corporations,
but the organizations should not
endanger one another
if and when opponents of a right-to-die
hospice attempt to prevent
what they regard as "suicide
clinics" from being established.
Any existing
organizations that seem to support this movement
might be subject
to criticism and even lawsuits.
But
a right-to-die hospice is NOT a place for committing suicide.
Rather, it is a way of giving end-of-life medical care
that embraces all legal and ethical options in that location.
And
eventually, it will be supported by the hospice benefit of Medicare.
(In other countries besides the USA, public funds for hospice
care
should also become available for this liberal form of
medical care.)
The first task of this
Facebook Group—Right-to-Die
Hospice—
is to discuss
the working principles
for such a medical service.
We will do this by reading and
revising a book of the same name.

How
Right-to-Die Hospice Differs from Traditional Hospice Service
From January-May of 2016, we discussed these
chapters.
Each week a
new chapter was posted.
These are all preserved in the "Files" section of our Facebook Group,
where new comments are always welcome.
When any member comments on a chapter,
that chapter appears once again in the main display,
where others are free to comment on the chapter
or to respond to the comments by others.

When the first review of our handbook was completed,
there were about 430 members in this group.
When about 100 new people join the group,
we will review the chapters once more.
