He formed a Bluegrass and Folk band called Truckin' which had many successful engagements at the El Mocambo, Nag's Head, the Golden Nuggett and many other clubs in the GTA [Greater Toronto area]. He plays seven string instruments, is a very versatile, competent musician and patient teacher for those students who really want to learn, and has a vocal and instrumental trio, quartet or quintet for engagements in the GTA [Greater Toronto Area].
It is easy to get to, even by public transportation, just one bus [#76], south from the Bloor subway, Royal York station. Jenelle has a great ability to connect with students and keep them excited and motivated about learning guitar.
Don has also produced and played guitar and solo tenor banjo on the CD, "Star of the County Down" by Annie McLean, featuring her most popular Irish and Scots songs that were requested at Dooley's Show club in Toronto. Jazz guitarists: Django Reinhardt, Tal Farlow, Barney Kessel, Ed Bickert, Johnny Smith and the Beadles George Harrison.
She was raised in a family of musicians who influenced and encouraged her to pursue her passion and education in the music industry. For the past seven years, she’s been teaching in the San Jose area and professionally performing throughout California.

Lessons material will cover reading music, technique, scales, chords, rhythm, ear training, vocal accompaniment, improvisation, and varying repertoire. She’s studied at San Jose State in their Jazz Performance program, and the California Jazz Conservatory. In addition, Jenelle has organized recitals for her students as part of the learning process. She’s classically trained with a focus in Jazz guitar, and well versed in many different musical styles including rock, blues, R&B, funk, and Latin.
