The rhythm of the melody can be a bit tricky for beginners, but should be manageable with even minimal practise! This entry was posted in beginner, free sheet music, repertoire and tagged amazing grace, john newton on March 7, 2015 by Tim Buckland. The arrangement I’ve provided here is for beginners but the rhythm, changing hand positions and chords in the left hand can be quite tricky so be careful not to assign it to a complete beginner who will struggle with it.

The student would just play a root position chord on the first beat of each bar according to the chord symbol. All the chords are on the white notes except for D major which has a black key in the middle.
