Dear Member,

The. Wait. Is. OVER!

After months of discussion...

And planning...

And preparation...

Karim and I are excited to announce that our second annual War Room Trading Summit has been booked, scheduled and secured.

It'll take place from June 11 to June 24, 2023...

In the breathtaking beauty of...

Croatia and Greece!

We're calling it Treasure and Antiquities: The War Room's Financial Discovery Tour to Croatia and Greece...

And it'll feature the very best of Dubrovnik, Poros, Hydra and Athens.

Just imagine...

Less than a year from now, you could be on a remote island in the Mediterranean sipping wine and hanging out with Karim and me – and a bunch of other War Room members you know from your daily chats inside the room… along with several of your fellow Chairman’s Circle Members as well.

At our inaugural summit in Napa, California, members got a rundown of our full trading system, a ton of great investment discussions and methodical explanations of in-depth strategies.

This time around, you'll get a front-row seat to detailed presentations about how both Karim and I trade. There is no substitute for an in-person experience – not to mention the amazing tours we have planned for you.

We will also be joined by our trip coordinator, Fritz Satran, who is the CEO and president of AESU Travel and a longtime travel partner of The Oxford Club.

Fritz is one of those rare people who can change your entire outlook on life with a single comment or conversation. He lives a truly rich life by finding joy and beauty in the world around him.

And his mission is to show others how to do that too!

Fritz considers himself a disciple of Epicurus, the ancient Greek philosopher who famously said...

"It is not what we have, but what we enjoy, that constitutes our abundance."

Fritz's irrepressible joie de vivre, appreciation for the finer things in life, and spirit of good humor and adventure will change the way you travel forever – and make this trip a truly memorable one.

Plus, his unparalleled knowledge of the cities of Europe, cultivated over the course of a four-decade career as an elite travel guide, will ensure that we get to see corners of each special place we visit that other travelers would never think to explore!

In fact, during our time together, if there's anything you especially want to see – or see more of – Fritz has you covered!

From markets to museums...

Palaces to piazzas...

Restaurants to ancient ruins...

Whatever you're most intrigued by, he can snag you an insider pass...

And probably a glass or two of excellent wine along the way!

He's a bit like Ralph Fiennes' character in the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel – absolutely committed to ensuring a fabulous experience for his guests.

We've partnered with Fritz and AESU Travel to make sure every second of the Treasure and Antiquities trip is world-class. I can attest that there is no better or more knowledgeable Mediterranean travel boutique in the world.

We will depart from the U.S. on overnight flights bound for the stylish city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Day 2: Monday, June 12, 2023

We will arrive in Dubrovnik, nicknamed the "Pearl of the Adriatic," and explore medieval city walls, Roman ruins and stunning beaches – all before checking in to the five‐star Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik and ending the day with welcome cocktails and sunset views with fellow members.

Day 3: Tuesday, June 13, 2023

winery

Our local guide will lead us through the maze of marble streets past ancient churches, monuments and palaces, all surrounded by stone walls and picturesque coves and beaches beyond. We'll take the Dubrovnik Cable Car to the summit of celebrated Mount Srđ to enjoy lunch at the Panorama Restaurant, relishing spectacular views of the Old Town and the glistening Adriatic Sea. Before dinner at a popular taverna, we'll sample some local wines at Škar Winery, a small, family‐run winery in a seventh‐century shipyard in the heart of Dubrovnik.

Day 4: Wednesday, June 14, 2023

food

This is when the War Room seminars begin – the schedule of speakers will be provided closer to the trip. Afterward, we'll enjoy a hosted lunch at the hotel, and then you'll have the afternoon off to explore on your own. At night, we'll come together for a truly magical evening. A short, scenic boat ride to Koločep Island will bring us to lovely Villa Rose, settled among ancient coastal pines. We'll enjoy authentic Mediterranean delicacies in a convivial ambience on the villa's restaurant terrace, perched on a seaside cliff above the blue hues of the Adriatic. This will be a gala evening not to be missed.

Day 5: Thursday, June 15, 2023

After a morning at leisure, we'll transfer to the airport for our flight from Dubrovnik to Athens, Greece, and check in to the landmark five‐star InterContinental Athenaeum Athens hotel. After check‐in, you can relax and unwind or enjoy a beverage at the rooftop bar with stunning views of the Acropolis. Our dinner of Greek specialties will be at a colorful local taverna in the charming Glyfada neighborhood.

Day 6: Friday, June 16, 2023

hotel

We'll board our motor coach for a trip on the National Road along the coast to the island of Poros. We'll stop at the Corinth Canal, where the ancient Greeks had slaves drag boats across the narrow spit of land that separated the Aegean Sea from the Adriatic Sea. Continuing along the coast, we'll come to Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site reputed to be the birthplace of Apollo's son Asklepios. Epidaurus is most famous for its ancient amphitheater from the fourth century B.C., which is one of the best‐preserved classical Greek buildings and is still used today due to its amazing acoustics. We'll enjoy lunch at a local fishing taverna on the beach before continuing to Galatas and arriving on Poros after a short boat ride.

We'll check in to the picturesque, seaside Xenia Poros Image Hotel, located by Neorio Beach with fabulous views of Poros' main town. Cocktails will be served on the hotel's lovely terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea. Then, we will board caïque‐style boats that will bring us to our dinner at a local tavern.

Day 7: Saturday, June 17, 2023

hotel

On this free day, you might consider visiting the picturesque monastery from 1726 – a white jewel in the pine forests set in the rugged mountainside – then venturing to the highest point of the island to see the ruins of the Sanctuary of Poseidon from 500 B.C. Later, there will be more time for living like a Greek god or goddess – swim and sunbathe at our hotel's pool and beach or take part in optional water sports activities.

At night, we've been invited to partake in a sunset drive around the island and enjoy cocktails with views of the endless Saronic Gulf from the terrace of the lovely Sirene Blue Resort. After dinner at a local taverna in the old town center, consider a stroll along the harbor quay past colorful fishing boats and jet‐setter sailing yachts from around the world. Here, lights reflect in water so deep‐blue and clear that it defies description, and cafés, shops and waterfront tavernas are alive with traditional bouzouki music.

Day 8: Sunday, June 18, 2023

hotel

In the morning, we'll travel to Mycenae, the former kingdom of Agamemnon, who was the leader of the Greek army during the Trojan War. We'll visit the remains of the ancient city, including the Lion Gate, which is the main gate in the city's Cyclopean walls. We'll continue our drive to Nafplio, once the capital of Greece. This beautiful town on the Argolic Gulf features a small port beneath the Palamidi fortress. Venetian homes and neoclassical mansions line narrow streets.

After lunch, you can explore the town on your own, sip on a coffee at one of the cafés along the quay, or shop at various craft stores and boutiques. En route back to Poros, we'll stop at a traditional olive press to learn about the process of making olive oil and sample some of the local liquid gold. Dinner will be served on the lovely hotel terrace.

Day 9: Monday, June 19, 2023

Free day! This will be a free day to spend at your leisure.

Day 10: Tuesday, June 20, 2023

hydra

You'll enjoy a free morning at your leisure. After lunch at a popular beach taverna in Flachaika, we'll continue to the island of Hydra. This island has been nicknamed "the Saronic diva" because of the movie stars who make regular visits and tie up their ritzy yachts in the harbor. No cars are allowed here, either – donkeys are the main means of transportation. After check‐in at the charming Bratsera Hotel, we'll stroll the stone‐paved narrow alleys lined with red‐tiled houses rising majestically from a steep harbor that's bustling with life. Then, we'll sip on cocktails while taking in the panoramic views and breathtaking sunset from Hydronetta, the cliff bar overlooking the glistening sea. We'll dine on traditional Mediterranean cuisine at a local taverna under grape arbors and starlit skies.

Day 11: Wednesday, June 21, 2023

The entire day will be yours to explore Hydra or to just relax, swim and soak up the sun! You could shop for souvenirs or have a leisurely meal at a sidewalk café as you watch the boats in the harbor. The more adventurous may want to wander along the back streets to visit artists' workshops or admire the majestic stone mansions perched on the steep hillsides. We'll gather together at night for a dinner of Greek specialties at an island taverna as we bid a fond farewell to Hydra.

Day 12: Thursday, June 22, 2023

mount lycabettus

You'll have the chance to enjoy more island leisure time. In the early afternoon, we'll check out of the hotel and board our "Flying Dolphin" hydrofoil for a boat transfer back to Athens. We'll check in to the legendary five‐star Hotel Grande Bretagne. With breathtaking views of the famed Acropolis and Parthenon, the Old Royal Palace, and Constitution Square, the Grande Bretagne is considered the most luxurious accommodation in town. In the late afternoon, we'll take a funicular up to the highest peak in the center of Athens: Mount Lycabettus. This is the tallest of Athens' seven hills that rise abruptly out of the middle of the city. Greek mythology suggests it was created by the Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena. We'll enjoy dinner while drinking in the fabulous views over the rooftops of Athens with the bustling Port of Piraeus in the distance. This is the best panoramic spot in all of Athens.

Day 13: Friday, June 23, 2023

parthenon

In the morning, our local guide will show us the 2,400-year-old Parthenon, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Constitution Square. In the afternoon, we will visit the remarkable Acropolis Museum, one of the world's most important archaeological museums and the perfect sanctuary for the ancient artifacts that were found in and around the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Our lunch will be at one of the most historic restaurants in Athens, Strofi, which is located just below the Acropolis near the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. There will be free time in the afternoon to wander amid fascinating temples and shrines to pagan gods, as well as Byzantine monasteries. You'll get the chance to see for yourself why Greece is often referred to as the world's greatest outdoor museum. No other place can match the beauty and significance of its archaeological sites. In the evening, we'll follow the sounds of traditional bouzouki music and enjoy our farewell taverna dinner in the Plaka district – Athens' oldest neighborhood, located at the foot of the Acropolis.

Day 14: Saturday, June 24, 2023

Our War Room tour will end with breakfast in the morning. We'll bid a reluctant farewell with promises of new discoveries on future programs.
