Viewing the status of a disc/tape request
You can view the status of your disc/tape request. Once DS-System has resolved the requested files in its database, the order status will show Purchased. However, the backup files must not be altered by subsequent backups or any other process with write access to the backup files. The backup is locked until your service provider can replicate the requested files to the media you requested.
To view the status of a disc/tape request:
1. On the Restore menu, point to Disc/Tape, and then click Orders. The following information is displayed:
 
Order ID
Unique sequential order number.
Backup Set
Backup set you requested to be burned to a disc or tape.
Time Issued
Time the request was made.
Status
Latest status message from the DS-System):
Purchased - The disc/tape order has been submitted to the DS‑System.
Finished - The disc/tape order has been written to the requested media by the DS-System.
Mailed - The disc/tape has been mailed.
Media
Number of discs/tapes that will be sent.
Type
Media type you have selected.
Options
Indicates if the request is for a:
Snapshot - the latest generation of all files in the backup
Selective Restore - customized request for specific files / folders
Files Failed
Number (if any) of files that were not successfully processed.
2. To update the list, click Refresh.
3. Click Close.
