Reactivating a snapshot transfer
When a snapshot transfer has been deactivated, the mapping from the source to the destination is broken. If you choose to reactivate a snapshot transfer, you must remap the source. To do this, you must select a source that contains at least one common snapshot that exists on the destination volume/qtree.
The storage device automatically selects the latest common snapshot between the source and destination to synchronize and use for the differentials on subsequent snapshot transfers.
To reactivate a snapshot transfer:
1. On the Snapshot Manager menu, click Snapshot Transfer.
2. Right-click the snapshot transfer you want to reactivate, and then click Re-activate.
3. Select the source storage device containing the snapshot transfer you want to reactivate, and then click Next.
4. Select the volume or qtree on the source storage device, and then click Next.
5. Specify a bandwidth throttle limit for the storage device and type a description.
6. Click Finish.
