Performing a machine-level delete
You can perform a machine-level delete to remove virtual machines that have been recovered in the instant recovery vault for VMware vCenter Server backups.
To perform a machine-level delete:
1. Click the Backup Sets tab.
2. Select the VMware vCenter Server backup containing the virtual machines that you want to delete.
3. On the Sets menu, point to Delete, and then click Machine Level Delete.
4. Select the virtual machines that you want to delete from the instant recovery vault.
5. Click Finish.
IMPORTANT: If you want to delete a VMware vCenter Server backup that is configured for instant recovery, you must first perform a machine-level delete of all its instant recovery virtual machines.
