Configuring a backup with local storage

Once the local storage path is configured, the next backup session sends data to local storage.

To configure a backup with local storage:

1. Click the Backup Sets tab.

2. Select the backup that you want to configure with local storage.

3. On the Sets menu, point to Backup Sets, and then click Properties.

4. Click the Options tab.

NOTE: For new backups, this feature is activated on the Choose the name for this backup page of the Backup Set Wizard.

5. Beside Use Local Storage, select the Save check box. By default, the backup will use the default local storage path defined in “Setting the default local storage path”.

6. To specify a different local storage path for the backup, click >>. In the Path box, type a different patch, and then click OK.

7. Click OK.
