Changing the ownership of a backup
The owner of a backup is the user who creates the backup. Administrators can change the ownership of a backup.
To change the ownership of a backup:
1. Click the Backup Sets tab.
2. Select the backup whose ownership you want to change.
3. On the Sets menu, point to Backup Sets, and then click Change Owner.
4. Beside the To box, click [>>]. Select the new owner for the backup, and then click Select.
5. To change the DS-Client database so that the new owner of the backup is reflected in the Activity Log, select the Change Activity Log check box.
6. To change the ownership of only this backup to the new owner, select the This backup option.
7. To change the ownership of all backups associated with the current owner to the new owner, select the All backup sets option.
8. Click OK.
