Updating statistical data on demand
Statistical data includes quantitative information such as the number of files per backup set, online amount per backup set, and statistical data for storage summary. These details are presented in reports that are generated in the DS-Client.
Statistical data is updated during the Daily Admin or Weekly Admin process. If Daily Admin or Weekly Admin is not scheduled, DS-Client automatically updates statistical data daily.
You can also update statistical data on demand. For example, you can do so to ensure that statistical data is up to date immediately before generating reports.
To update statistical data on demand:
1. On the Setup menu, click System Activities.
2. In the System Activities Administration dialog box, under Administrative Processes, beside the time stamp of the last update of statistical data, click Update Now.
