Summary
In some cases, you may wish to restore an older version of a backed up file. (e.g. If you discover that files after a certain date are corrupted, or if you wish to restore a project that requires files from the same backup session. The number of generations online depends on the backup set option settings, as well as the number of backups performed and the frequency of changes to the backup file.)

The following features are accessible from the Restore Wizard.
Select by Generation
1. Restore menu > Restore Now > Show Files > File Info
2. Highlight the desired generation of the file from the list and click Select or Select Session Only.
By making this selection, you change the filter selection in the Advanced Options screen (Restore menu > Restore Now > Advanced):
If you use Select, the filter period is from the earliest backup session to the backup session of the selected generation.
If you use Select Session Only, the filter period is for files backed up with the selected generation only. Both the From and To fields will be the time of the selected generation’s backup session.
The Select Directories / Files screen appears with your selection marked. The directory list is automatically refreshed to show files based on the updated filter selection.
