Microsoft Exchange Server backups (EWS)
Microsoft Exchange Server (using EWS) backup sets handle the backup and restore of Microsoft Exchange data at the item level using Exchange Web Services (EWS).
NOTE: You can create Microsoft Exchange Server (using EWS) backup sets for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 or later. DS-Client does not support backup and restore using EWS for earlier versions of Microsoft Exchange Server.
Because this backup set kind is handled by DS-Client in the same way as a Backup from the Cloud (Microsoft Office 365) backup set.
