DS-MLR registry keys for Microsoft Exchange Server (DS-MLR)
The following table lists the registry keys that apply only to Microsoft Exchange Server and describes how each registry key affects the operation of DS-MLR.
NOTE: An asterisk (*) indicates that the registry key is not installed by default and can only be added manually. Other registry keys that apply to multiple types of email servers including Microsoft Exchange Server are listed and described in
Table 5 on page 128.
Table 6 DS-MLR registry keys for Microsoft Exchange Server
Registry key | Type | Default | Description |
ChangeDuplicateID * | Dword | 0 | If this value is 1, DS-MLR will create a new email ID for duplicated items. |
ExchangeCreateProfileTimeout * | Dword | 20 | The wait time in seconds when trying to create a MAPI profile. |
ExchangeMapiAddressMaxLength * | Dword | -1 | Configure this key to prevent MAPI from hanging when DS-MLR uses MAPI to save an email message with thousands of recipients. This key enforces a limit that stops DS-MLR from trying to use MAPI. When the length of from/to address exceeds the value of this key, DS-MLR will not try to use MAPI. A value of -1 means “no limit”. |
ExchangeMapiEnabled * | Dword | 1 | If the value is 0, DS-MLR will not use MAPI. |
ExchangeMapiFirst * | Dword | 1 | If the value is 0, DS-MLR will try to use CDO first. |
