• Your DS-Client must have the Local DS-VDR Tool enabled by your service provider from the DS-System. To see if it is enabled, open Setup > View Quotas and check the DS-Client Local VDR License section. Each Physical machine that is protected will be one Local DS-VDR license count.

• The MVMC host computer and DS-Client computer must both be trusted computers with each other. See below for configuration instructions.

• The Microsoft Hyper-V Server and DS-Client computer must both be trusted computers with each other. See below for configuration instructions.
