Cloning a backup set

Managing backup sets : Cloning a backup set

Use this feature to duplicate an existing backup set with all its backup items and options, except the retention rule, schedule, and name of the backup set. This feature is only available in FullFeatured DS-Client (Windows, Mac, Linux).

1. In the Backup Sets tree, right-click the required backup set and select Clone.

The Clone Backup Set Wizard appears.

2. Select a retention rule if required and click Next.

The Choose a schedule for this backup set screen appears. For more information, see “Working with retention rules”.

3. Select a schedule if required and click Next.

The Choose the name for the backup set screen appears.

4. Type the name of the cloned backup set name, select a set type, and click Finish.
