I recently added both a model 12c02t panama from march 13th, 1988 (435th fan) to my collection, as well as an aged bronze harbor breeze classic style (the kind without the fancy grillwork). Why is it that people cannot just simply edit their original posts when they acquire a new fan? I just thought I'd start a new thread for my bag of ceiling fan clippings since there will be so many pics.
That very cool to bad it's not complet though.Ahh the good old days when those fans were sold.Cool pics!
The children's fans are outrageous (except the Hunter baseball fan) the green, Coca Cola and Nascar fans were cool. This article is about the defunct Westinghouse Electric Corporation founded in 1886, renamed CBS Corporation in 1997, and purchased by Viacom in 1999. This article includes a list of references, but its sources remain unclear because it has insufficient inline citations. In 1998, CBS established a brand licensing subsidiary Westinghouse Licensing Corporation (Westinghouse Electric Corporation). Westinghouse Electric was founded by George Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1886. The company is also known for its time capsule contributions during the 1939 New York World's Fair and 1964 New York World's Fair.[citation needed] They also participated in the St. Westinghouse produced the first operational American turbojet, but fumbled on the disastrous J40 project. 1888 a€“ introduces an induction ampere-hour meter for alternating current developed by Oliver B. 1914 - George Westinghouse dies, with a legacy including 361 patents and the founding of 60 companies.

1940s a€“ enters aviation with airborne radar (defense electronics sold 1996), jet engine propulsion, and ground based airport lighting, gets defense contract from U.S. 1945 a€“ renames itself the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and makes first automatic elevator. 1955 a€“ Westinghouse J40 engine failure causes all F3H fighters using the engine to be grounded, and all other jets using it to switch to other engines. 1988 - spins Industrial and Government Tube Division off as Imaging and Sensing Technologies Corporation. 1994 a€“ Cleveland operations and facilities purchased by Eaton Corporation for $1.6 billion. 1998 - sells its non-nuclear power generation and energy units to Siemens AG, which operates under the name Siemens Westinghouse until 2005.
2005 a€“ Viacom is split into two companies on December 31, with a new Viacom being spun off of the company, and the "old" Viacom being renamed CBS Corporation thus reviving Westinghouse's last name prior to sale and reversing the 1999 Viacom-CBS merger. 2010 a€“ The Westinghouse Electric Company (Toshiba) opened new headquarters in Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania where it preserves the industrial legacy of the original Westinghouse Electric Corporation. It's funny how the downrod is so scratched up and the reset of the fan appears to be in almost new condition.Very nice Delta II you got there.
If all of these micro-lists were consolidated, there wouldn't be any wading through posts looking for someone's original thread. Please consider expanding the lead to provide an accessible overview of all important aspects of the article.
It was founded on January 8, 1886, as Westinghouse Electric Company and later renamed Westinghouse Electric Corporation by George Westinghouse. A year later, CBS sold all of its nuclear power businesses to British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL).
Is it really that hard?I really don't see what's the problem with putting a new post for that.

Soon after, BNFL gained license rights on the Westinghouse trademarks and they used those to reorganize their acquired assets as Westinghouse Electric Company. The company's largest factories were located in East Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they made turbines, generators, motors, and switchgear for generation, transmission, and use of electricity.[1] In addition to George Westinghouse, engineers working for the company included Frank Conrad, Benjamin Garver Lamme, Oliver B.
Navy jets when the project had to be abandoned, but led to leaving the aircraft engine business in the 1950s. Within two years, the Bolsheviks overthrow the Russian Provisional Government and cancel a previous order of over 1 million rifles. Are you using it with the tiny downrod? The Moss Caribbean Breeze and Envirofan are very nice too.Are you planning to add some of theses pictures to the galleries? The thread is made just for that.People won't bother going pages back just to see an updated list.
There was also a 2000 Hunter catalog in the bag (fortunately it is still in one piece ); I'll post the pics of that one in the 'Ceiling Fan Catalogs' thread since it is a whole catalog. The company was historically the rival to Thomas Edison's electric company which was later merged into the even bigger competitor, General Electric (see War of the Currents). I prefer an edited list, that's how I always do mine because it's ridiculous to repost that list even after I get 10 new fans. I'll get the last few miscellaneous fan clippings up next, and then the Hunter 2000 catalog that was also in the bag.
