[00:00] Praise be Jesus and Mary. Today's Gospel, our Lord speaks of the one thing necessary. He says, "Remain in My love." [00:34] To remain in our Lord's love means to remain in our Lord's grace. Sanctifying grace is what makes us partakers of the divine nature. Sanctifying grace is what makes us children of God. Sanctifying grace is what makes us heirs to eternal life. Everything that our Lord promised is effected in our souls through sanctifying grace. [01:12] This is the one thing necessary, to remain in His love, to remain in His grace. If this is the one thing necessary, that means the one thing that we should absolutely hate is mortal sin. Mortal sin is the only thing that separates us from God. And the one thing that we should absolutely dread is to be separated from God. [01:50] We will, we want to remain in our Lord's love. We want to remain in His grace. Because everything our Lord promised is effected in our souls through sanctifying grace. But He wills to do this through the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Church teaches she is our mother in the order of grace. [02:21] Every single grace that God gives to us passes through her immaculate hands. She is the one that guides us, protects us, and helps us to remain in our Lord's love, to remain in our Lord's grace. Let us ask her for the help that we need to persevere, to remain in our Lord's love, to remain in our Lord's grace, and to persevere to the very end so that our joy might be complete. [03:11] Et desum benedictum fructum ventris tui, Jesus. Amen.
