Praised be Jesus and Mary, now and forever. If I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you, our Lord says. In the economy of salvation, the Holy Spirit follows our Lord in the sense that he is sent to us only after the Ascension of our Lord. But these stages, so to speak, of the economy of salvation, the history of salvation, never deprive us of anything, but rather give us something more. When the Advocate is sent after our Lord's ascension, that does not mean that our Lord is somehow less present to us. In fact, if anything, he is more present in a certain sense, because now, with Pentecost, with the coming of the Holy Spirit, the sacramental economy begins, and our Lord is present still on earth, and even more present, if you can say so, because he's present in every tabernacle, in every church, in every diocese, in every country, all over the world. Our Lord is still very much present, not less, but more. Not less accessible now, although not visible, but more accessible. Not less known, but more known, because the Spirit who comes is the Spirit of Jesus, a distinct person, but one in nature, a distinct person, but who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who manifests Father and Son to us, who leads us to all truth, who reminds us about everything that our Lord has said to us. He is the Spirit who brought about the conception of our Lord in the womb of Our Lady, and the Spirit who conforms us to our Lord, but always with Mary and in Mary. And it's the Spirit who, in cooperation with his beloved spouse, Our Lady, brings us to a most perfect conformity to our Lord, in fact, because he, the one who brings about the conception of Jesus in the womb of Mary, and makes us conformed to Jesus, makes us sons of God and sons of Mary. And that's, in fact, exactly what our Lord is, Son of God, Son of Man, Son of Mary. In the history of salvation, in the economy of grace, we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit, but that does not mean that our Lord is less present, less accessible, less known. Quite the opposite. More present, more accessible, more known. Therefore, it is truly expedient for us, advantageous for us, to receive the Holy Spirit that our Lord sends to us. Praised be Jesus and Mary, now and forever.
