Praised be Jesus and Mary. On this day before Palm Sunday, the reality of our Lord's passion and death become more apparent. His enemies engage in some really strange reasoning. Jesus performs unbelievable miracles, and many people come to faith in him. Therefore, he must be put to death. With each day, the hatred of the Jewish religious leaders increases. And the more astounding the miracles Jesus performs, the more determined they are to put him to death. Caiaphas prophesies that it is better for you to have one man die for the people than to have the whole nation destroyed. To them, faith is a threat. Their way of life may be at an end.
