The intent of the Hero Project Challenge is to leverage the momentum and platform of the Heroes Project Summit to support ongoing engagement in veterans’ issues and challenge our audience, our readers, and the general public to pay it forward, and make it personal. Here are some examples of how you can participate:

- Sign up for a run, walk, or other athletic event with our Solutions Partners like Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund or The Mission Continues.
- Have your company or organization lead a service project with employees or in support of The Mission Continues or Team Rubicon.
- Encourage your alma mater to begin a campus chapter of Student Veterans of America.
- Set a goal for your company to recruit, retrain, and hire veterans for full-time employment or internships.
