Create a Graph Window.

Input a discrete linear function.

Note the vertical gaps in the graph.

Input another discrete function.

Notice the horizontal shift.

Input a third discrete function.

Notice the vertical shift.

Create a split screen and create a spreadsheet in the second window.

Evaluate f1(x) near values of x = 1.

Notice that the values are either zero or 1.

This function shows that a discrete function passes the vertical line test.
