Exploring Properties of Cosines Using Sliders

Open a new graphing window.

Create three sliders by pressing Menu, 1, and A for each slider.

Move each slider by placing the pointer over the slider till you see an open hand.

Hold the click key until you see a closed hand.

Use the Nav Pad to move the slider.

Press Escape to release.

Repeat for the second slider.

Change the settings for each slider.

Have the pointer hover over the slider.

And press Control and Menu.

Change the settings as shown.

Press the Library button to access special characters like pi.

Press Tab several times to get to the f1 area.

Input the generic equation as shown and press Enter.

Manipulate the sliders to see the effect on the graph.
