Composite Functions: Linear to Quadratic
Open a new graphing window.
Define linear function f1 in terms of a variable.
Press Enter to graph it.
Now define quadratic function f2 in terms of f1.
Press Enter to graph it.
Notice that how it still shares the same y-intercept as the original function.
Define quadratic function f3 that results in a vertical translation of the original function.
Now define quadratic function f4 that it results in a horizontal translation of the original function.
Change function f1 and see how the corresponding functions change, while they maintain
their relative distance from f1.
