Test:
Drawer guide
Drawers must survive 25,000 open
and close cycles.
We test for 35,000 cycles.
Cabinets are subjected to 120° heat with 70%
humidity for 24 hours—to simulate the heat
from cooking and extreme shipping conditions.
They don’t even require this test.
After 10 different common household products
are poured on the cabinet and left for 24 hours,
there must be no staining or deterioration when
each is wiped away.
Door hinges must survive 25,000 open
and close cycles.
Same thing, but we raise the
temperature to 160°.
We expose stained and painted doors and
frames to 400 hours of intense UV light—
to be sure years of sun exposure creates
no unreasonable color change.
Same thing, but we test 38 other common
products—from beet juice, butter, crayons
and lipstick, to name-brand cleansers and
drinks—to see how they affect our finish
(and ultimately your cabinets).
We test for 35,000 cycles.
