A LITTLE BIT UNPREDICTABLE,
IN A GOOD WAY.
From the American West comes the soft, light wood of the alder tree with its sought-
after, natural quirks—open and closed knots, burls, worm holes, mineral streaks and
small cracks that lend charm to a kitchen.
A little more industrial?
Try a darker finish.
A darker finish gives the cabinets a more
streamlined look, which can capture a more
urban, industrial sensibility.
Design tip:
A suede topcoat looks great on Rustic Alder,
giving it a soft look that really accentuates its
natural characteristics.

A little more rustic?
Try a lighter finish.
A lighter finish highlights the natural
inconsistencies, for a more natural feel.
