XMenu adds additional menus to the right-hand side of the menu bar. Each menu gives you direct access to the contents of the folder it represents:

• Applications (directory ‘/Applications’)
• No more need to add many applications or the Applications folder to the Dock.
• Developer Applications (directory ‘/Developer/Applications’)
• Home (directory ‘~/’)
• Documents (directory ‘~/Documents’)
• User-Defined (directory ‘~/Library/Application Support/XMenu/Custom’)
• Snippets (directory ‘~/Library/Application Support/XMenu/Snippets’)

Select any item in a menu to open it. Items in the Snippets menu are not opened but their content is inserted into the frontmost window or text field instead.

Click any of the menus added by XMenu with the Command or Control modifier key held or right-click it to reveal hidden options such as opening the preferences or quitting the software.
