Yeah? What? Oh, right! Yeah, sure, I’ll be there. OK. So, anyway, where was I? Oh yeah-- I was fiddling with the radio dial, I was desperate, I was really jonesin’ for something to get my ears around, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I hit gold, solid gold. I mean these cats were so hot I thought the radio was gonna’ melt. What! you laugh? I’m serious. I just reached into my pocket, yanked out a stick of gauge, lit up, and went for a long, tall climb. And let me tell you, that day I climbed all the way up to Saint Peter’s pearly gates. I saw the promised land. I - I can’t begin to describe it. It truly was paradise. Then, just as suddenly as it started, it ended. Just like that. No commercial interruption, no station identification, no DJ voiceover, no nothing. Just the proverbial deafening silence.I’m telling you, I thought for a minute there and, to be honest with you, every once and a while even now, that I accidently caught a broadcast of double-you-gee-oh-dee. I mean, I never heard anything like it before or since. I can’t help but believe that this just goes to show that no matter how much I or you or anyone else thinks they know, no one knows it all. I think that we’ve just barely scratched the surface of life. There’s a whole lot goin’ on above us and below us that affects everything we do every day of our lives and that we know nothing whatsoever about. There are mysteries in this world, pure and simple.
