David Veech, President-Elect

His leadership and learning journey began as an officer in the US Army. He retired after 20 years’ service, but he never stops learning. He shares what he learns with hundreds of students and clients every year.
For over 30 years David has carefully studied leadership and work systems, looking for practical strategies his students or clients can effectively apply. In the Army, he taught leadership on the faculty at Stetson University and introduced Lean Six Sigma to the Defense Acquisition University.
Since retiring, he has served as teaching faculty at the University of Kentucky and the Ohio State University. He has built two successful international consulting firms whose clients include the US Postal Service, Owens Corning, Rolls-Royce, the Arizona Department of Economic Security, and Nationwide Insurance.
He is the author of two best-selling books: Leadersights: Creating Great Leaders Who Create Great Workplaces, and The C4 Process: Four Vital Steps to Better Work. He is an avid orienteer and an accredited cruise counselor with his own travel agency.
He’s been married to Mary for over 35 years. They have three adult children, 2 grandchildren, five dogs, a horse, and a herd of deer that Mary likes to keep fed through the winter.

Ray is a futurist, passionate about helping individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations understand and develop the skills necessary to survive and thrive in the emerging turbulent marketplace. He is the founder of Lighthouse Force, dedicated to leading businesses in the areas of innovation, design thinking, critical thinking and transformation management.
Ray loves taking the complex and explaining it in a practical way that can be easily applied. He brings a valuable blend of corporate and academia experience to his facilitated workshops, keynote speeches and consulting, with over 20 years as senior manager in the business commerce and telecom industries at IBM, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T Bell Laboratories, and over 15 years as university instructor. His talks are fun, informative, and full of audience participation.
When not busy solving problems, Ray enjoys going for a run and floating down a river in his kayak.

Natalie Siston, Director of Marketing
Natalie’s career has taken her from Silicon Valley to the Fortune 100 and into entrepreneurship, but being raised in Republic, OH (population 600) is where she learned her greatest leadership lessons. Natalie founded Small Town Leadership in 2016 in order to share these lessons learned from small town living to help leaders and organizations create big success in the world.
In addition to being a 10-year 4-H member and repeat State Fair champion in public speaking, Natalie is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University and Professional Coach accredited through the International Coach Federation. She has 20+ years of experience coaching, developing leaders, and strengthening teams in the non-profit, higher education, and corporate sectors. She works with both 1:1 and small group coaching clients to help them be more connected – to themselves, their work, families and communities. She is a frequent speaker at leadership, university and corporate events.
Natalie resides in Dublin, Ohio with her husband, Rob, and two young daughters. When she’s not writing, speaking or coaching, she enjoys mentoring students, training for endurance athletic events, and improving her golf game. Her bestselling book, Let Her Out: Reclaim Who You Have Always Been, was published in 2020.
