The League of Women Voters of Wake County is a grassroots, nonpartisan organization committed to empowering voters and defending democracy. To those ends the League:
Encourages informed and active participation in government.
Increases understanding of major public policy issues.
Influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose political parties or candidates for office. Any use of the League of Women Voters’ name or logo in campaign advertising or literature is prohibited.
What We Do
The League of Women Voters of Wake County is an all-volunteer organization guided by a set of core values. Member volunteers operate all aspects of the organization.
