Welcome to the Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild!
The Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild, Inc. (FKQG) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1984 by a group of Sarasota, Florida quilters.
The objectives of FKQG are:
- To promote education in all areas of quilting.
- To sponsor and support quilting activities.
- To encourage quilt making and collection.
- To enhance the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, history of patterns, and quilt makers.
- To promote fellowship, mutual aid and common interests.
- To contribute to the community through quilt donations, presentations, and displays.
Our meetings are held the third Monday of the month, except for December. Doors open at 6:00pm for social time. Meetings in July and August are held via Zoom.
