The Children’s Hope Art Exhibit
at the Forrest County Youth Court, Hattiesburg, Miss.
The Children’s Hope Art Exhibit is a collection of art commissioned by the Forrest County Youth Court, Hattiesburg, Miss. unveiled April 23, 2021. The purpose is to adorn the walls of the courthouse and inspire the children, families and staff. On this page are small photos of the large 3' x 5' paintings, a statement by Judge Carol Jones Russell about why this exhibit is important, and a video of the exhibit. “The Forrest County Youth Court is here to help families, motivate and uplift them. We offer resources and support so that hopefully, one day, they can achieve reunification. These objectives are what ignited the idea to have the Children’s Hope Art Exhibit and inspired the artists to create the paintings for a permanent collection of art.”
