Replication continues during a test. If you need to initiate a failover during a test, you can initiate the failover. The test stops to enable the failover and then a normal failover is performed, as described in The Failover Live Process. Any changes made to test the failover are not replicated, as only changes to the protected machines in the VPG are replicated.
