The saw in this instructable is a Craftsman 113.298762, but this process should apply to most other Craftsman table saws.
I called Delta customer service and they are sending me a new fence which should arrive tomorrow after waiting a week.
I was almost ready to return the whole thing and was considering paying more for a Vega fence, but decided since i already did the work and drilled holes to stay the course. Before I attached them though, I took apart the metal fence to sand down protruding welds, and adjusted the sheet metal fence by pressing wide spots with a c-clamp (and more sanding). Place the T-style fence onto the table, so that the angle iron is riding in between the fence rail and the saw table. For a table saw to cut accurately, the saw's fence must be able to remain perfectly parallel to the blade at any position on the table.

It was cheap too, I never used the fence that came with it and sold the original for more than what this cost me to build.
Because of the motor sticking out of the back of the saw, we have to approach the rear rail a bit differently. Also another thing that bugs me about table saws is that they don’t include Zero Clearance plates.
