How to make bunk beds diy, building a king size platform bed frame, how to make a wooden awning, wood cabinets painted white - How to DIY
Personally, I'm not a fan of bunk beds, having two boys who like to push everything to the limit. Children like bunk beds because they allow more floor space for play - and normally become a part of the play process. But when fitted with side rails, there is no reason why bunk beds can be safe, as long as children understand the limits of what they can and cannot do! When buying PAR pine for this project, make sure that all pine is straight and has no 'wet spots' or heart-wood.
Place two 68-inch 2x4s flush against each other and clamp them together to begin building the bunk beds. Cut six 2x4s measuring 36 inches in length to build the horizontal rails for the headboard and foot board of the bunk beds.
