Peekskill, NY — The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery at SUNY Westchester Peekskill is pleased to present Photography Exhibit 2026, on view from July 20 through August 24, 2026. This exciting exhibition showcases the culminating portfolio work of workforce students completing our Digital Photography Certificate program. This non-credit workforce readiness program is led by Gerry Katzban, an accomplished digital photographer and post-production artist and recent recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Designed to be both highly technical and deeply creative, the certificate program helps students refine their photographic skills while developing a strong aesthetic voice through rigorous group critique and engagement with contemporary photography masters. IN THE GALLERY The curriculum emphasizes a dynamic balance between production and post-production, supporting significant growth in each student’s ability to express a personal vision. Under Professor Katzban’s guidance, students take on challenging projects in studio lighting, small-object photography, and fieldwork, gaining critical hands-on experience across a range of professional photographic practices. The public is warmly invited to the Opening Reception on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join us in celebrating the achievements of our graduates and experiencing the powerful work they have created.
