All that they would need to do is to trade in an eligible T-Mobile handset that still works at any of the participating stores. The deal also eliminates all remaining EIP payments, and enables current customers to purchase new phones at the same upfront cost as new customers, with device financing and Simple Choice Plan, a no-annual-service contract.
In addition to the new program, T-Mobile also announced that it had expanded its LTE network to 116 metro areas across the United States, now reaching 157 million people.

According to Legere, Verizon has silently turned its upgrade program into another two-year contract, thinking its customers won't notice. If you want, you could also make multiple payments in advance, and then you'll be able to completely own the phone.
On February 23, Jump will, instead of offering an upgrade at the six month mark, let you upgrade anytime you want, as long as you pay off 50 percent of the balance of your phone. Even without upgrades, customers must choose after 18 months with the same phone to either turn it in and end their commitment with nothing more to pay, upgrade to a new phone and start again, or make a final payment covering the full retail price of the device and keep the phone.
The company did not mention support for Google's corresponding Android Auto in its announcement. Twitter advises stickers will be rolling out to users over the next few weeks, and will work on both the mobile apps and through the browser.
