| #BecomingBlue&Gold: Share Your Story |
Hot Off the Presses! The U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation introduced Becoming Blue & Gold, a video series that will tell the stories of our alumni who come from unique heritage backgrounds; who experienced a transformation process upon entering the Academy and assimilating into the Brigade of Midshipmen and in uniformed service unified by three core values and a single mission; and how these alumni use that experience to inform how they lead and serve in command, citizenship, and government. If you want to share that story, please contact Bridie Bryant, Communications Coordinator, at bridie.bryant@usna.com, and please include a photo that represents your story. |

| Protect Yourself From Phishing Attacks |
The USNA Alumni Association and Foundation has noticed an uptick in phishing attempts and our alumni can be part of the solution. Protect yourself and others by remaining vigilant if you notice the following red flags: Emails from unfamiliar sources, requests for private information, requests to click on attachments, links to other websites, emails from individuals posing as someone you know, emails containing odd content, misspellings or incorrect diction. Leverage your innate instinct if something seems suspicious. Avoid making payments on websites that do not begin with https: (the “s” meaning secure). Visit this website to learn about top phishing techniques used by cybercriminals. |
