I think once I save up enough for a great quality copper core set these will be my extra set for large dinners. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets which is probably the most used pan in any kitchen that will help you turn out perfect crêpes. The set also includes a sauté pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals.

It may make cooking easier but you are paying a price for that convenience with your long term health.I love that quality stainless steel cookware lasts forever. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich.
Frying eggs in the pan results in a thin layer of egg 'sticking' in the pan when attempting to flip the eggs. I am in my fifties and when I was a child, my mother bought me a set of bake ware made from stainless steel to put in my hope chest (this was back in the days when most girls, Southern girls anyway, had a hope chest that they filled throughout their childhood with things to start their own households with as young adults).Anyway, I still use those stainless steel baking pans and they still work beautifully and look great. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Like the glass top, and gel insert in the handles works well so you don't need to use a towel to lift the covers etc. Start your dish in this pan by sauteing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven. Now they're some brilliant functionality being over shown by design consideration.** MINUS 1 **Also a note regarding the condition of the set when first unpacked.
The cardboard separators between items in the box were positioned so that two of them had vibrated enough during transport to have left a noticeable marking in the pan and one pot.** A note only - No points off **That's reality.
I actually bought a 12 inch skillet several months before I bought the whole set of pots and pans, just to see if I’d like stove top cooking with stainless steel cookware (I did).

You can see the 12 inch skillet I bought here. The handles on the stock pot and the handles on the lids do get hot.
This is really to be expected and is not so much a negative as it is something to be aware of.A few folks said their pots had leaky rivets. Most stated that theirs are fine so maybe that’s a flaw the company has taken care of.
It is worth taking the time to learn and adjust to cooking with stainless steel if you are used to non-stick. I saw a couple of individual Kitchen Aid pots at Marshall’s and I wanted to buy them.
But I preferred to come to my house first and read some reviews and yours seems to be very honest and helpful. Thanks!
