For household brulee use, we use Danesco's cooking torch in our teaching kitchen and are very happy with it. Golda's kitchen in Mississauga is great -- usually the cheapest (even Amazon) for bakeware.

If you have been Amazoning up a storm this season, it's time to leave that jungle for the local spots. Anything your mouth desires, you can achieve with a recipe, a little patience and the necessary equipment from one of these places. Cooking is a fun and exciting passion, and anybody that doesn't greet you when you walk into the shop has a pickle up their bum!
